During our 2.5 hour workshop located in the heart of South Yarra’s Chapel Street precinct, you'll handcraft two custom rings guided by expert jewellers—no experience necessary!
Perfect for a fun outing with friends, date night, or solo creativity, this beginner-friendly class covers all the essential techniques required for ring making.
The Ringflow experience includes:
- Class time: Approximately 2.5 hours
- Metal options: Two sterling silver rings, two solid 9k gold rings, or one of each (select your option from the dropdown menu)

- No experience necessary and all materials provided
- Learning filing, soldering, sanding, texturing, and polishing

Both instructors were really accommodating, and I had a lovely time. Instructors take you through step by step of stamping, forming and finishing the rings at a good pace. Classes are small so they're always there to help if you want advice or assistance. Instructors prioritise your making experience as well so asking for help never results in a "I'll just do that for you" that means you don't learn anything, rather they provide an explanation on what's happening, some advice and options on how to proceed, sometimes with a demo to help explain. I really enjoyed my time, am a little obsessed with the rings I made, and am looking forward to doing more ring making workshops in the future! Having a go once has really got me hungry for more technical knowledge on how to create different decorative effects and continue experimenting and making. Thanks so much ringflow!

I got the ring making workshop at Ringflow as a treat to myself while visiting Melbourne and I had the absolute best time with Will and Amy! They were very helpful and knowledgeable, and I left very happy with the two rings I made. I asked for some information about getting materials to make it at home and Will sent me the nicest email with so much useful information. I definitely recommend this workshop and I would definitely do it again if I lived in Melbourne!!
Both my partner and I loved our ring making experience! Not only was it fun and interesting to do, learning about techniques and the different materials it was also easy to do thanks to Will and his team guiding us through it all and helping whenever we needed it!
