In a Ringflow ring making class, you’ll spend around 2.5 hours in our Prahran studio handcrafting two customised rings with the guidance of experienced jewellers. The workshop is relaxed, hands-on, and designed to be fun and approachable, with all tools and materials provided! You’ll learn core ring-making techniques such as filing, soldering, sanding and texturing, and personalise your rings with stamps, letters or textures to make them uniquely yours.

Absolutely! The class is designed specifically for complete beginners and is fully guided from start to finish by friendly, experienced assistants. No prior experience is needed at all — we take you through each step, answer questions as you go, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the process!

You’ll make two simple, rings during the class. Depending on the option you select at booking, these will be made in sterling silver, solid 9k yellow gold, or a combination of both.

The designs are intentionally clean and wearable, making them perfect for beginners, with plenty of opportunity to personalise your rings through textures, finishes, and stamped details—you can refer to the photos on the booking page to see the difference between our sterling silver options and our gold options.

The class runs for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

You can choose from sterling silver, solid 9k yellow gold, or a combination of both. Your preferred metal option is selected at the time of booking so everything is ready for you on the day!

For silver rings, the available options are a 4.2mm wide flat band and a 2mm half round band. For gold rings, the options are a 2.5mm wide flat band and a 2mm half round band. These options are carefully chosen to suit beginner techniques while still producing beautiful, wearable rings.

Public classes are offered in sterling silver and solid 9k yellow gold only. Rose gold and white gold can be arranged in private classes. Please note that private bookings incur additional fees.
